?Dream Team? Offers an Intense Franchise Business Concept Filling a Niche in the Industry
OVERLAND PARK, KS. ?May 23, 2012 ?? With more than 20 years of experience in the franchising industry, John Rotche has made a name for himself and is showing no signs of stopping. Rotche has paired up with former professional boxer Danny Campbell, business partners Tom Lyons and Rick Washburn, and TITLE Boxing Company to complete an executive ?Dream Team? and introduce TITLE Boxing Club to entrepreneurs as an intense franchise opportunity in the thriving health and fitness segment.
Most recently the President of Belfor Franchise Group, Rotche brings his franchising expertise to the boxing workout concept as a perfect fit alongside Campbell, who has the boxing know-how, Lyons and Washburn, who have years of entrepreneurial and business experience, and TITLE Boxing Company who provides all the necessary gear and equipment to open a fitness club with an already established worldwide brand. Together, the team has carved a niche in the fitness segment and created a concept that not only gives members a good workout, but changes their life, emotionally and physically.
?I was attracted to the TITLE Boxing Club business even before I joined the team,? Rotche said. ?In fact, I was thinking about becoming a franchisee, but when the partners of TITLE Boxing Club approached me to join their team and serve as President of the company, I was not only honored but thrilled with the opportunity. With minimal moving parts and one of the best investment versus returns I?ve seen in the industry, this business is impressive not only from a consumer stand-point, but from a business perspective as well.?
The TITLE Boxing Club idea was first entertained when former professional boxer Danny Campbell wanted to design a workout based on what boxers do to train, and take it to the suburbs. He created the POWER HOUR workout that helps members burn up to 1,000 calories per hour, leaving them feeling empowered emotionally and physically. Danny partnered with the rest of his business-minded team, and they established the business on a national level before looking for a franchising expert to complete their dream team.
?When John joined the TITLE Boxing Club team, it was like we found the missing piece of the puzzle,? said Danny Campbell, co-founder of TITLE Boxing Club. ?John has a tremendous reputation in the franchising industry and we?re confident that his expertise will take our fitness franchise to new heights.?
John Rotche is no stranger to franchising. He began his career with leadership positions first at the World Headquarters of Domino?s Pizza and then the Krispy Kreme franchise. After years as an executive, Rotche followed his entrepreneurial spirit in 2002 and purchased a single van air duct cleaning company that he ran from his daughter?s bedroom. He eventually franchised the concept under the name DUCTZ and built it into the nation?s largest duct cleaning franchise with more than 150 units. In 2008, Rotche identified an additional opportunity within the commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning industry and launched the HOODZ franchise which he grew to over 140 locations in under two years.
Rotche has built a pristine reputation in the franchise industry, earning a variety of recognitions and accolades on his journey. He was honored as the National Trainer of the year for Domino?s Pizza and was also recognized as a recipient of the ?Forty-Under-Forty? by Crain?s Detroit Business in 2008. Most recently, Rotche was named Entrepreneur of the Year from his Alma Mater, the University of Michigan, as well as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the International Franchise Association (IFA), one of the most prestigious awards known to franchising. He regularly speaks at engagements in franchising, has authored multiple articles for industry publications and created FranShip, the IFA?s mentorship program.
With 30 locations open across the country and 200 in development, 188 of those awarded in just the last 10 months, TITLE Boxing Club is quickly carving a niche in the crowded fitness segment. With the addition of Rotche rounding out their ?Dream Team,? TITLE Boxing Club has their sights set on continuing its explosive growth and building a world class franchise business opportunity.
