What to Do if You Don't Have Time for Blogging, Social Media, or ...

Whenever I speak to an audience about the importance of blogging and using social media to promote a business, What to do if you don't have time for blogging, social media or marketing your business onlinethe one question that I?m always asked is: ?But what if I don?t have time for doing all of these things??

The fact is that it does take time to write blog posts and share on social media and implement the many other internet marketing tactics that can help you build a bigger audience for your business. It takes time, persistence, and dedication. But these efforts can pay big dividends.

There are tasks that we all tackle daily in our businesses. We check email, return phone calls, meet acquaintances for coffee or lunch, talk to prospects, attend business events, file paperwork, develop marketing materials, create new products and services, and the list goes on. It only makes sense that we couldn?t possibly fathom adding another responsibility to the list.

But what if I told you that these tasks you don?t have time for?blogging, social media, etc.?are actually more important than many of the things you?re currently doing on a daily basis?

I believe it?s a matter of priorities and if you could see the rewards that these efforts can bring, you would reconsider what tasks are really important. Over the past few years, I?ve taken charge of my schedule. I cut out many of the networking events I used to attend. I rarely accept invitations for coffee or lunch. I check email just a few times each day. These tasks that I once thought were so important to my business actually turned out to be major time suckers. And when I looked at the return I was getting for the time spent, it didn?t add up.

For me, blogging and social media are two huge priorities in my business and this commitment has paid off big time. My website traffic has more than doubled in the last year alone. About 75% of my business revenues come to me as a direct result of marketing online?the things that I once thought I didn?t have time for.

I?m betting that if you really wanted to, you could carve out an extra 45 minutes per day to start ramping up your online marketing efforts. And if you did that for 60 days, you?d begin to see results and your perspective would change.

Then you?d realize that these are tasks that are worth making time for and that perhaps your priorities need to be reevaluated. Business is changing. Blogging and social media are no longer optional?they are essential. Give it a try consistently for the next 60 days. I think you?ll be glad you did.

By the way, if you?re frustrated, overwhelmed, or confused by online marketing strategies, I bet you?d love my new book! Grab a copy of Own Your Niche: Hype-Free Internet Marketing Tactics to Establish Authority in Your Field and Promote Your Service-Based Business.

Estate Planning Terms: The Pour Over Will | The Law Office of ...

Feb 20, 2012 ?/? By: admin ?/? Category: Estate Planning, Wills & Trusts

There are certain types of wills, or aspects of wills, that are not suited for every purpose.? A ?pour over? will is just such a document. These wills are only necessary for people who have a living trust already established. If you don?t have a living trust, or want more information about them and why they may be of benefit to you, talk to your estate planning attorney.

Function: The idea of a pour over will is to transfer all of your property? into a trust that was created while you were alive. The trust, known as a living trust or an inter vivos trust, already contained some, if not all, of your property. In the event that some of your property?is not transferred to?the trust before you die,?the pour over will does this for you as a catch-all.

Use: Like all wills, a pour over will must meet the creation requirements under state law. Unlike other wills, however, pour over wills usually only name a single beneficiary: the testator?s living trust. Because the living trust already controls much of the testator?s former property, the pour over will? essentially takes the rest of it and transfers it to the trust as well. However, whatever is left after the testator dies must go through the probate process before the trust can own it. This differs from the property first placed in trust, as trusts do not need to be probated before they are effective.

List Building Made Easy

Having an established list of contacts is important for anybody?s business, most especially if you are doing online advertisement as part of your marketing strategy. A broad and established list of contacts definitely means a broader range of potential customers who may be interested in considering your business offers. List building is an essential part of marketing as well, for without it, you will not be able to have your business advertised and spread out widely among other people.

?

The phrase list building made easy, truthfully, is not applicable at all. Come to think of it, in the field of business and advertising, any strategy, activity, or steps are never easy. Every single action you are bound to take must be done with extreme precision, patience and vigilance, for everything in the field of business is a risk.

But by properly following instructions and steps, then you may probably consider the term List Building Made Easy applicable, at least in your case.

?

Creating a wide list requires a rigorous work of networking. You must constantly and patiently send informational emails through your contacts, and let them help by forwarding your messages to their own contacts, and somehow, among that list of contacts you will be able to receive at least one who will decide to come to you with interest on your business.

In building a list, there are things that you must consider. First, you must have a complete database, which includes all your subscriber?s contact details. Have a standard informational mail which you will be able to provide them. Also, be certain of your target market. This one is important, so that you will now which class of people exactly are you supposed to make contacts and attend to.

Also, make sure that there are possible means of transaction between you and your target client, and from there you will be able to determine up to where you can bring your business to.

?

Maintaining trust and harmonious relationship is also important in list building. You may be able to do this by making sure that your responses to all your clients needs are immediate. Try your best to provide remedy to all your clients? queries, for this will provide you a good reputation that you will be able to bring and carry with you as you further promote to other people.

?

Connection and communication are important, not only in the field of business but in your whole life. With proper communication you will be able to convey what you feel and what you intend to do with someone. You will be able to do activities harmoniously, and be able to interact in a peaceful manner. In the field of business, without contacts and proper communication, you will not be able to move from the place where you began, and your business will not be able to advance and be successful. It is important that you keep yourself connected with the social world somehow, some way, for it is the key for you to achieve success in all things you could think of.

Singer N'Dour: Senegal becoming 'dictatorship'

Police opened fire with tear gas Saturday on a commercial avenue in Senegal's capital, as security forces wrapped up early voting in a contentious presidential race.

It marks the fourth straight day of protests before next week's critical election, which is pitting the country's 85-year-old president against a young opposition demanding his departure. The increasingly tense atmosphere on the ground has many concerned there may be unrest if President Abdoulaye Wade is declared the winner of the vote.

On Saturday morning, the country's 23,000-strong security force including police and military, lined up to vote early. European Union observers said the ballots had arrived on time and voting proceeded calmly.

The normally bustling capital of Senegal has been disrupted by protests every few days since January when the country's highest court ruled that Wade could be a candidate in this month's election. Just months shy of his 86th birthday, Wade is seeking another seven-year term in a nation where most people don't live past the age of 60.

If he wins, it would be his third term, even though he oversaw a revision to the constitution in 2001 imposing a two-term limit.

Among those standing for election is singer-turned-politician Youssou N'Dour, 52, best known for his duet Seven Seconds with Neneh Cherry.

"I never had personal ambition to be president," N'Dour told Britain's Sunday Telegraph. "But the situation is so bad at the moment. Senegal needs a renaissance."

The newspaper reported that some 60 per cent of Senegal's population is illiterate, almost half are unemployed and the per capita income is just $1,041 dollars (?665) a year.

"We're not calling for an Arab Spring-style revolution," said N'Dour. "But we certainly need an evolution."

N'Dour expressed frustration that Wade has refused to step aside from power.

"He's made a $26 million statue, but he's not given the people running water," he said. "The president is behaving like a king. We do not have diamonds or petrol here. But what we do have is even more precious: a shop window for democracy. We are proud of that. And surely that is just as important to fight for as oil or gold?"

Shopkeepers in Dakar pulled down metal grills to protect their businesses as the blast of tear gas being fired resonated in the capital's downtown core. The vendors that hawk their wares on the street hurried to pack up their goods.

Four people have been killed since the protests began, a death toll that is small compared to the election violence that recently gripped Ivory Coast, Guinea, Nigeria and Congo, but high for Senegal which has long been seen as a model of tolerance and stability.

Late Friday, police attempting to disperse a crowd launched a tear gas grenade inside a mosque belonging to the Tidiane Muslim "confrerie," or brotherhood. Enraged worshippers ran outside.

Senegalese TV showed an officer who braved the cloud of gas in order to kick away the spewing canister from the door of the mosque, in order to calm the anger.

The country's Muslim brotherhoods hold enormous sway, and on Saturday, Interior Minister Ousmane Ngom traveled to Tivaouane, home of the Tidiane's khalife, religious leader. A mob of angry youths encircled the house of the khalife, as Ngom was inside, according to Ngom's spokesman Mbaye Thiam who was reached by telephone in Dakar.

The state-owned news service said that the youths were preventing Ngom from leaving and that they had also set fire to a government building nearby.

The Associated Press and msnbc.com staff contributed to this report.

Precision Prostate Cancer Treatment

FREE! Download
Windows Media PlayerLOS ANGELES, CA ( Ivanhoe Newswire) ? New treatments are helping men with prostate cancer live longer, but can still cause embarrassing side effects. Now, a new type of guided radiation is making life easier.
Rick Dancer?s life is a balancing act, he bounces his way through his intense two-hour daily workouts.
?I think I?m in the best shape that I?ve ever been in in my life,? Rick Dancer told Ivanhoe.
When Rick was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, he was determined not to let it affect his lifestyle.
?I don?t want to live not being able to do the things that i love to do,? Rick said.
He tried a new radiation system called the Calypso. It works like a GPS, tracking the prostate?s location during the entire treatment. The prostate?s considered a moving target during radiation because it changes position when the bladder and rectum are empty or full. With the calypso, doctors can pinpoint the exact location.
?We know exactly where the car is with a GPS device. We know exactly where the prostate is with this device,? Howard Sandler, M.D., MS, fastro, Ronald H. Bloom Chair in cancer therapeutics, and professor and chair of the department of radiation oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, explained.
Three tiny transponders are implanted in the patient?s prostate. They emit radio-waves that allow doctors to track exactly where the prostate is at any given time, in real time. The system is so precise the beams only hit the prostate, sparing surrounding organs. Studies show it reduces gastro-intestinal side effects and doctors expect it could reduce sexual side effects too.
?It?s like having a movie, a continuous read-out where the prostate is throughout the entire treatment,? Dr. Sander said.
Rick continued his grueling workouts even while undergoing radiation. He says the treatments didn?t interfere with his active lifestyle. Now, he pushes even harder.
?I just don?t want it to win,? Rick said.
The new system allows doctors to know where the prostate is within one-millimeter throughout the entire treatment. So far, it?s been used on about six-thousand patients in the U.S. MORE

Quiet Carpets and Fiberglass Formation: UB Students Solve Engineering Problems to Win Knovel University Challenge

News Release

Release Date: February 14, 2012

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Want to know why your footfalls echo more loudly on bare floors than on those that are carpeted?

It's due to something called the "noise reduction coefficient" and University at Buffalo students Rahul S. Thakkar, a senior electrical engineering and mathematics double major, and Vivek Kamath, a graduate computer science major who completed his studies in December, know all about this principle. They also know the melting point of nylon 6, the density of high-volume fly ash concrete, and the uses for methyl ethyl ketone peroxide.

Correct answers to questions about these topics (and more like them) helped the two UB students place very highly in the 2011 Knovel University Challenge. The challenge is a series of questions on engineering-related topics presented by Knovel, a web-based company that combines industry-specific information, analytical capabilities and search tools in applications designed to assist engineers and applied scientists in their research.

Thakkar won the grand prize and beat out 5,600 students from 600 universities in 93 countries in order to walk away with an iPad 2. Additionally, Kamath was one of 17 other students to win a prize. UB was the only institution represented by multiple winners.

Two hundred eighteen UB students achieved correct answers 328 times in the sixth annual competition. UB's high number of student submissions to the competition ensured that the university was guaranteed entry into another "contest-within-a-contest," one reserved for those schools with outstanding participation. Kamath was one of eight winners of that smaller competition and received an iPod nano.

In this year's version of the challenge, students could choose a series of questions from various levels of difficulty and had to correctly answer at least three of the questions presented. According to Virgil Wong, marketing associate for Knovel, the contest allowed students to submit two incorrect answers before being forced to exit the program and restart the challenge. Due to the multiple difficulty levels, there were over 12,000 entries in this year's competition -- a 55 percent increase in participation from last year.

In order to enter the contest, the participants had to use Knovel's resources to answer the questions. The specialized full-text database is one of many available to UB students. What makes Knovel's resource unique, according to Nancy Schiller, UB engineering librarian in the UB Sciences and Engineering Library, are its dynamic, interactive features. "For about 1,000 engineering handbooks, Knovel has programmed the tables and graphs so they're not static and instead will solve for different variables," Schiller said. She hopes that by inviting students to compete in the competition, they will become more familiar with the resources available at the UB Libraries.

The University at Buffalo is a premier research-intensive public university, the largest and most comprehensive campus in the State University of New York. UB's more than 28,000 students pursue their academic interests through more than 300 undergraduate, graduate and professional degree programs. Founded in 1846, the University at Buffalo is a member of the Association of American Universities.

AP Interview: Tibetan exile warns of crackdown (AP)

DHARMSALA, India ? Upcoming Tibetan New Year's celebrations appear poised to bring more bloodshed to the troubled Himalayan region, the head of Tibet's exile government said Tuesday, warning that China has sealed off the regions ahead of a crackdown.

Already facing nearly two dozen self-immolations, many by Buddhist monks and nuns calling for Tibetan freedom and the return of the Dalai Lama, China is sending thousands of extra security forces to Tibetan areas to prepare for expected protests.

"They have sealed off Tibet," Lobsang Sangay said during an interview with The Associated Press. He said festivals around the Feb. 22 Tibetan New Year, as well as the March 10 anniversary of the failed 1959 uprising, are very likely to bring Tibetans into the streets.

But with the region closed to outsiders ? foreign tourists have been ordered to leave and Western reporters are effectively barred ? it will be almost impossible to know the reality of the situation.

"Chinese security personnel are cracking down on Tibetans for one pretext or another, and the world will not know whether they were arrested, whether they were tortured, whether they were killed," he said in Dharmsala, India, where the Dalai Lama and the exile government are based.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Tuesday defended China's policies on Tibet, saying the government respects traditional culture and freedom of religious belief. He said China has invested heavily in Tibet and will continue to do so.

Tibetan areas of western China have faced spiraling unrest in recent months, amid the wave of self-immolations and a series of sometimes-bloody protests. The violence, much of it in Sichuan province, is the worst in Tibetan regions since 2008.

The information that does emerge is seldom complete, with few details about the people who have burned themselves alive or the protests.

On Monday, a teenage monk set himself on fire in Sichuan's Aba prefecture, according to the London-based International Campaign for Tibet said. The monk was beaten by security forces as they put out the flames, the rights group said. His condition was not known.

Beijing has blamed outsiders and extremists for trying to incite violence or undermine China, while Sangay and other Tibetan leaders say the self-immolations reflect an increasingly desperate population unable to express themselves any other way.

"You can't have hunger strikes, you can't have demonstrations, you can't write petitions," Sangay said. "Given such repressive policies and actions, Tibetans are pushed to the brink of desperation."

"They are thinking that perhaps this form of action will bring some attention to the grievances of the Tibetan people," he said.

Beijing accuses the self-proclaimed exile government of seeking to separate Tibet from China. But exiles and the Dalai Lama say they simply wants a high degree of autonomy under Chinese rule.

China occupied Tibet in 1950 and claims the region has been part of its territory for centuries, though Tibetans say the Himalayan region was virtually independent for centuries.

Exclusive: Proview says any ban of iPad exports hard to impose (Reuters)

HONG KONG/TAIPEI (Reuters) ? A debt-laden Chinese technology firm seeking to ban all shipments of Apple's popular iPad tablet into and out of the country has been told that China's customs authorities are unlikely to intervene in the trademark battle.

Proview Technology, the Chinese company embroiled in a legal battle with Apple Inc over the iPad name, said on Wednesday that customs authorities had told it that the sheer size of the market and the popularity of iPads would make it difficult to impose a ban.

"The customs have told us that it will be difficult to implement a ban because many Chinese consumers love Apple products. The sheer size of the market is very big," Yang Long-san, chief of Proview Technology (Shenzhen), told Reuters in a telephone interview on Wednesday.

"We have applied to some local customs for the ban and they'll report to the headquarters in Beijing."

On Tuesday, lawyers representing Proview Technology (Shenzhen) Co Ltd said the company would seek a ban on exports of Apple's iPads from China, a major manufacturing base, a move that could deal a blow to the U.S. technology giant's sales globally.

Authorities in some Chinese cities had ordered retailers to stop selling Apple's iPad due to the dispute. [ID:nL3E7N64KO] Proview has asked authorities in about 20 cities, including Shijiazhuang near Beijing, to stop the sales.

"We will be asking commerce departments of more cities to investigate and deal with the case accordingly," said Roger Xie, a lawyer with Grandall Law Firm, which is representing Proview.

Yang said the best option to resolve the legal dispute would be an out-of-court settlement. The next hearing of the case is due for February 22 in Shanghai.

Apple lost a case to Proview Technology (Shenzhen) in a Shenzhen court in southern China late last year, when the court agreed that Proview owned the iPad trademark. The next hearing for this case is on February 29.

Local media reported recently that Proview was taking legal action, seeking up to 10 billion yuan ($1.6 billion) in compensation from Apple for trademark infringement, saying that the compensation could be the last hope to help rescue the company.

"Some people say that Proview wants to take the chance to make a sum of money from Apple and this is tarnishing our company's reputation. We need to clarify what's the truth behind it," Yang said.

He said there was currently a gap in expectations on both sides, but declined to say whether it was related to the amount of compensation.

Proview Technology (Shenzhen) is a unit of troubled Hong Kong-listed Proview International Holdings, which used to be one of the world's top monitor makers until the financial crisis in 2008 crippled its business and operations.

Reuters correspondents visited the site of its operations in Shenzhen listed on its website and found that the building has largely been abandoned, with its windows shattered and debris strewn liberally.

Proview International, whose shares have been on a trading halt since August 2010, posted a net loss of HK$755.8 million ($97 million) in the six months ended December 2009, which was the last time it published financial results.

Proview International's shares last traded at HK$0.20. On Tuesday, Apple's shares ended at $509.46, setting a record high on hopes of strong iPhone 4S demand and investor optimism over the potential launch of a new iPad in 2012.

Apple says it bought Proview's worldwide rights to the trademark in 10 different countries several years ago, including rights to the iPad name from a Taiwan subsidiary of Proview International.

Back then, the Proview Taiwan unit had sold the rights to IP Application Development Ltd, a London-based company that was set up by Apple, for 35,000 pounds, Proview's executives and lawyers said. IP Application Development then sold the iPad name to Apple for 10 pounds months later, they said.

However, Proview Technology (Shenzhen) says the sale did not cover the trademark's use in China, where it owns the iPad name.

Yang said the company had been developing a tablet product called the iPad back in 2000.

"We spent a lot of resources on it. It's the same concept as the iPad today, except that back then, there were practically no LCD screens," Yang said.

Obama friendly but firm with China heir apparent (Reuters)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) ? President Barack Obama told Chinese leader-in-waiting Xi Jinping on Tuesday that Beijing must play by the same trade rules as other major world powers and vowed to keep pressing China to clean up its human rights record.

In White House talks, Obama sought to reassure Xi that Washington welcomed China's "peaceful rise." But he also signaled that frictions would remain in a growing economic and military rivalry between the two countries, even as Beijing's political transition moves forward.

Xi's meeting with Obama was the centerpiece of a heavily scripted visit that could help the Chinese vice president boost his international standing and show he is capable of steering his country's relationship with Washington for the next decade.

Obama's firm message on trade, currency, human rights and global issues such as Syria was notable, given that the meetings were previewed as essentially sizing-up sessions.

He has assumed a tougher tone with China in recent months, and is under election-year pressure from Republican presidential candidates, who say his approach has been too conciliatory.

"With expanding power and prosperity also comes increased responsibilities," Obama said as he sat side by side with Xi in the Oval Office.

"We want to work with China to make sure that everybody is working by the same rules of the road when it comes to the world economic system, and that includes ensuring that there is a balanced trade flow," he said.

But Xi, who must also show a domestic audience he is ready to defend China's interests, later insisted to American

business leaders that Beijing was acting on U.S. concerns and asked for similar consideration from the Obama administration.

Obama, who was echoed in blunt terms by Xi's official host, Vice President Joe Biden, pressed the Chinese leadership to let the value of the country's currency rise and to do more to reduce the record $295.5 billion U.S. trade deficit with China.

That has underscored concerns in Congress about Chinese practices that put U.S. firms at a competitive disadvantage.

But U.S. leverage over Beijing is limited, not least because China is America's largest foreign creditor, and it remained unclear how much of Obama's rhetoric was political posturing at a time when voters' anti-China sentiment is running high.

SMILING, NODDING LEADERS

Xi, 58, in line to assume the presidency in March 2013, said he looked forward to building a "cooperative partnership based on mutual respect" but did not address Obama's veiled criticism in their joint appearance before reporters.

Each leader smiled and nodded as the other spoke and they shook hands.

At a State Department lunch, Xi said the two sides must resolve economic disputes through dialogue, "not protectionism."

In a Chamber of Commerce speech, Xi stood his ground against U.S. complaints on trade imbalances and intellectual property, saying Beijing "has taken steps to address them."

He called on the United States to address Chinese concerns on "lifting restrictions on high-tech exports to China and providing a level playing field for Chinese firms investing in America."

Seeking to assuage Chinese sensitivity to protocol, Xi was treated to a prestigious Oval Office encounter and was received with military honors at the Pentagon. But since he is not yet head of state, he was not given full red-carpet treatment.

Xi's visit comes when ties between Beijing and Washington - the world's two biggest economies - have been buffeted by strains over economic disputes, human rights and each country's military intentions.

"On critical issues like human rights we will continue to emphasize what we believe is the importance of recognizing the aspirations and rights of all people," Obama said.

Chinese leaders usually bristle at such public criticism as meddling in their affairs, and U.S. officials say Obama reserves stronger language for behind closed doors. But his remarks were unlikely to upset Xi's visit.

Despite that, Xi cautioned U.S. leaders to avoid "further disturbance and damage" to relations in how they respond to sensitive issues like Taiwan and Tibet, according to the Xinhua news agency.

Outside the White House, about 200 protesters decried China's controls in the restive regions of Tibet and Xinjiang, its ban on the Falun Gong spiritual sect, and its rules banning most urban families from having more than one child.

DIFFERENCES ON SYRIA

Obama also chided Xi over another sharp policy difference - China's decision to join Russia in a veto of a U.N. Security Council resolution against Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad.

But Obama appears to have dealt more cautiously with the issue of Iran, thanking Beijing for helping to enforce sanctions on Tehran over its nuclear program. Washington hopes to coax China to wean itself off of Iranian oil but recognizes that will require delicate diplomacy.

At the Pentagon, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta alluded to strained military-to-military ties as Washington reasserts itself in the Asia-Pacific region in the face of China's buildup. Both men pledged to work to restore trust.

Chinese media had mostly followed the government's lead in the run-up to Xi's visit by playing down bilateral tensions. But it was still early morning in Beijing when Xi held talks in Washington, so it was unclear how fully the U.S. criticism about trade, human rights and Syria would be aired there.

Chinese officials have carefully choreographed Xi's U.S. trip as a rite of passage in a once-in-a-decade leadership change. He is expected to become head of the ruling Communist Party later this year as a prelude to the presidency.

U.S. officials hope the talks will help them gauge the priorities Xi will pursue. He is less stiff in public than the man he will succeed as president, Hu Jintao, but his views remain largely opaque to policymakers in Washington.

Xi is the highest-ranking Chinese official to visit since Obama launched a new U.S. "pivot" toward Asia in November to counterbalance China's increasing assertiveness in the region.

Like Obama, Xi will not want to come across as a pushover in the face of U.S. pressure. He has to play to a powerful Communist Party apparatus and nationalist sentiment at home.

Xi's tour will take him from Washington to a farm in Iowa to Los Angeles as he looks to ease Americans' worries about China. He is a Communist Party "princeling," the son of a revolutionary leader, but also fond of Hollywood war dramas.

Although Obama's aides see the visit yielding no breakthroughs, the United States and China agreed on Tuesday to talks on setting guidelines for export-credit financing, and China agreed to open up its auto insurance market to foreign competition.

Best 3 Internet Advertising Methods | New Blog Tips

The local business market should take full advantage of the existing channels for advertising on the internet. Unfortunately, most small businesses do not achieve their potential revenues because of the sheer lack of advertising. Utilizing the traditional methods of such as print, direct mail, television, and radio promotions are still very much relevant today as it was in the past. But they typically fall short because of one simple thing the business fails to include in their local business market advertising. That is off course not including their website promotions. These three simple methods can create an explosion in the amount of new customers to your business.

Local industry marketplace online advertising way number one is to create an e-mail listing one of the most first questions I ask industry house owners is: What should you had a big sale of your products this weekend and sought after to promote this for your present shoppers. Do you have a database of your present shoppers name and e-mail cope with to let them find out about it?

No longer sudden is that some of the potential clients will temporarily say no. Then rather frequently I see a look of sadness in their face. I temporarily amend the glance by telling them that this is some thing that may easily be enforced these days. The simplest way of doing that is to create a website online and install a few type of mailing list tool instant now notification shall be sent for no matter what news or specials your business will be offering

Neighborhood business marketplace internet advertising method quantity two is to put in force social media into their marketing plans. i advise native business owners all the time concerning the power of social media. of course a few of them do not know what social media is until I say the real company identifies equivalent to Twitter or facebook this present day it kind of feels like everyone is both using Facebook or Twitter. Take complete good thing about this via offering a cut price or a unfastened carrier in modification for including your industry?s Face e-book or Twitter page as a family member or follower. This is the twenty first century of model of word of mouth promoting. the one distinction is that it is all digitized and much speeder.

Neighborhood business market online advertising method quantity 3 is to get listed in the local search engine effects page. Yahoo, Google, and Bing all have native search engine results for businesses in the local area these search engines like google take hold of the listings from resources equivalent to yellow and white pages and come with them into their databases. That is why you?ll get very speedy results should your in search of a Florist for your native space marketplace. Those search engines are absolutely conscious about their customers asking for directory sort queries and will correctly submit results.

I particularly love Google?s model of the native business market search. i will be able to get industry telephone numbers, web site, deal with, and even get unbiased reviews from the business?s customer So it is very important that the native business market make sure their industry is correctly defined in the search engine effects page.

I can not stress the importance of implementing these types of internet advertising methods for the current local business market. These three methods are just a small listing of the many hundreds of ways to promote in the local business market. If you still think these three methods is bit overwhelming than I suggest you look for a Business Online Coach.

Voip Shoves Industry To High Definition Voice ? Bokan China

Resiliency will be the authentic service perquisites of your Vocation VoIP telephone pattern. You can receive a Houston phone number together with your Detroit contact number, so now your sister tends to make a LOCAL call on your Houston number, and when the woman does, your VOIP phone at your house . in Detroit will ring the program doesn?t cost the anything! According to any advisory and talking to company Deloitte, ?Mobile voice calling made via a strong IP-based network (VoIP) are likely to evolve from subject to mainstream, given the option of new services that blend a large range of IP-based capabilities that complement phone voice, including one-to-many cell phone calls, broadcast voicemail, and voice-to-text. It?s a large amount like placing eat the guts out space telephone calls with conformable phone although the discrepancy is that Voip will not foray up to the landline. The pbx method would only make use of public telephone circle, or PSTN, for an external telephone call. Using pictures utilizing instructions, such as, ?Here?s your networking connector, here?s the back of your respective phone, now plug them into oneself. ? Also, having a listing of FAQs helps greatly reduce help desk requests.

If you will find a requirement to need voice and data in the similar network, there may become a few values within maintaining them one at a time. This is the utilization of unified communications VoIP spanning a wireless connection. For the DRINK users, the codec is certainly caused by G. 722u and skin a facility to enjoy their call channeled for a conference bridge. Even some regional cable companies are at this point offering VoIP mobile phone service at deep discounts recommended to their customers.

To utilize mobile, you require a new GPRS/3G or Wi-Fi made possible handset. An incident when a user is deprived of your services or resource they can normally have. Increased broadband puncture and advances on VoIP technology get this possible, and now there?s a simple long line regarding VoIP providers out there buying a piece of your action. These phones may also be commonly generally known as Voice over IP and Voice over The web. And another point: Wherever you move, as long whenever you have an Web connection, you can include VoIP service.

VoIP is certainly cheaper than some other mean of telecommunication similar to regular PSTN, GSM, CDMA mobile cellphone etc. The most widespread response from these customers have been, ?Yes, but it may be so cool?. This is one of the most cost-effective telecommunications systems. The objective character on the business eradicates any sort of dependency over oneself making it all the more imperative to take care of one?s corners. But in truth of the matter, if your cross country minutes are over about 2500 that will 3000 minutes a month, you can expect a brief and tactless letter out of your VOIP provider asking why you could be using that many minutes on the residential phone, and to show you in no uncertain terms they can expect to notice fewer minutes used later on.

Meanwhile, Skype has also been maintaining its elegance offensive with cellcos, pitching a November 2009 example by CCS Comprehension showing that 3 United kingdom?s partnership with Skype hasn?t only lowered churn, but also improved traditional voice as well as SMS usage instead of cannibalize it. Once the call is determined up and that UDP voice records actually starts transmitting it?s going to sent to private IP?s and therefore dropped. All are in accordance with IP-based communications multilevel, instead of the standard communication model connected with telecommunications services. Be sure to be sure of each VoIP provider for where did they provide their consumers the means to access their voicemail. These issues are introduced within the VOIP environment because it can be a real time multimedia transfer. When packets find their intended destination inside of a different order they?ll likely were originally directed, the result is actually a call with very poor or scrambled songs.

Another massive advantage of loads of features such simply because call forwarding, call waiting, and three in their connection with any VoIP service. Although NGN fry incredibly hot, in the standard telecom operators are also part of this building, but is idle much of the so-called NGN business within the telecommunications business continues very small portion, poor business improvement capabilities, there are numerous reasons. The nice piece about VoIP is to be able to go mobile from sometimes a laptop client (software constructed into your laptop of which imitates your desk phone at your workplace), or having your VoIP phone at your house or your remote control office. There won?t be considered NAT mapping for this purpose of course and it must be blocked but because of this you use town forwarding instead. Long distance charges are dramatically decreased, and in improvement, the cost of equipment can be quite reasonable compared to somewhat of a traditional PBX habitat. The key to be able to securing VOIP is to apply the security systems like those integrated in data sites (firewalls, encryption, etc.).

Federer recalls emotional 2001 Davis Cup win vs US

(AP) ? Roger Federer hopes to recapture the emotion of Switzerland's 2001 Davis Cup victory against the United States when they meet again in the first round this weekend.

Federer recalled the Swiss win on Tuesday, when as a 19-year-old he won three matches for a 3-2 victory in his home city of Basel.

"I think it was my first emotional outburst on a tennis court because I was so exhausted on Sunday after winning singles, doubles and singles," Federer said.

Federer said that performance, against a U.S. team led by Todd Martin, "definitely got me in winning ways." Months later at Wimbledon, he beat four-time defending champion Pete Sampras in the fourth round.

"It was a start of great things for me and I'm happy playing America again," said the 30-year-old Federer, who will line up in Friday's singles with Stanislas Wawrinka against Mardy Fish and John Isner.

Federer owns a record 16 Grand Slam singles titles, but he hasn't won the Davis Cup trophy.

Federer's skipped the first round of the Davis Cup since 2004, and changed his preparations to play Davis Cup this year.

He hasn't played on clay so early in the season since 2004 in Romania, and it's been seven years since he played in Europe in February.

On a cold, 20-degree day in Fribourg, it was perhaps easy to understand his previous schedule. He typically practices after the Australian Open and plays a single tournament in Dubai, where he has a home.

But Federer renewed his Davis Cup commitment by traveling to Australia last September for a World Group playoff that Wawrinka helped clinch. The five-set win over Lleyton Hewitt was halted in the Sunday twilight and completed Monday.

"It's only normal for me to play the first round after that heroic effort of his," Federer said.

The third-ranked Swiss said he's in "a good state mentally and physically" after his semifinal loss to Rafael Nadal in Melbourne.

"I've had a great run since last year's U.S. Open and haven't lost until just the other week," he said. "The transition to clay has been somewhat easy. Clay is good on the body."

Federer helped choose the slow indoor surface, a perceived weakness of the American team.

"It's the best surface to play the United States, and we think it will be a small advantage for us," Switzerland captain Severin Luethi said.

Winter 2012 CHA Bella Blvd. Scraplifts - Kiss and Tell Scrapbooking

Last week, I posted that I'd have my CHA Bella Blvd. inspired scrapbook knock-offs up on Sunday {here's a link to that blog post}; we got back from a ski vacation and I've been?busy getting back to my daily routine and haven't had a chance to blog until now.? So here are three pages inspired by the Winter 2012 CHA layouts from Bella Blvd.:

1. Button Heart Layout.?

Scraplift: I have tons of buttons but don't often use them on my scrapbook layouts so it was fun to have a purpose for some of these mismatched buttons.?

The Story: ?Since many of the CHA layouts have only one photo, I picked a photo that was very meaningful even though it is not a perfect photo; it is the first photo taken of our whole family - it was taken in the garage - actually here in my home office / scrapbooking room since we had a little crib set up in here- on the day we brought Allison home from the hospital.? Allison is now 8 years old and I didn't do a lot of scrapbooking when she was a baby since I was very busy, so its fun to take out these old photos and scrap them now.

Supplies: I used some DCWV baby themed patterened paper, random buttons fastened to the page with adhesive dots; the red polka dot paper is from Echo Park's basics pack, and the letters were from a dollar bin at Target - they didn't stick particularly well so I?machine stitched?them to the page.

2. Paper Strips and Buttons Layout.

Scraplift:? I loved the design of this page since it uses a big square of patterened paper and lots of patterened strips to give the page a solid base and the diagonal random buttons were a fun addition but don't feel too random, the design of this layouts allows for a lot of stuff on the page, but also allows for photos and jouranling space.

The Story:? "The school photo process - what a detail ordeal - not only did they get the orders wrong both times, but we had to do re-takes of both kids - but both kids were picture perfect cuties."? The back story is that Mac's hair was so long in the first photo that we got him a hair-cut and had a retake done and Allison's photo pose was weird so that while the photo was cute, the amount of space her head took up in the photo was so small you could barely see her face.? So both had to get re-takes and both times the processor got everything wrong about the? photo packages - and there were about a zillion photo package options,?it was seriously confusing and even though the pictures were done in October, we still don't have Mac's package straightened out so that's still on my to do list!

Supplies:? KI Memories patterned paper?and Bazzill cardstock, random buttons and epoxy stickers and brads, Sassafrass adhesive border stips.?

3. Horizontal Thirds Layout.

Scraplift:? The original page used a dark blue patterened paper base with a tight design, I didn't have something that worked exactly so I used two different Echo Park papers and stitched them together with the middle strip.

The Story:? "CHA 2009:? As a scrapbooker, it was a total delight to take an entire week off work and go get totall immersed in the world of my hobby and to learn about the industry and all the players.? So total interesting to get an upclose peek into this subculture that I spend so many hours in."? In the photo are Tina Cockburn (Simple Scrapbooks & Write.Click.Scrapbook.); me; Angie Lucas (Simple Scrapbooks & Ella Publishing); Diva Danielle (she had a podcast which I'm not sure is still around or not); Lain Ehmann (Simple Scrapbooks & Layout A Day); & Tami Morrison (Funnest Ever Scrapbooker from Simple Scrapbooks & teacher at Big Picture Classes).

Supplies:? Echo Park patterened paper, QuicKutz die cut letters, sharpie marker, and random other odds and ends.

That's all for now and now that I'm back to my regularly scheduled blog programming, I'll have the rest of the seven Bella Blvd. inspired scrapbook layouts up one per day for the rest of the week.

Plus I'll have my Project Life Album pages up soon and the travel scrapbook I made during our recent ski trip; and I'll be?participating in Ali Edward's?Day in the Life tomorrow - which also happens to be my son's 10th?birthday - but I'm under strict order that we are not to?celebrate (not sure what to do about that command).?

Cheers.

Spain tells banks to cover toxic assets or merge (AP)

MADRID ? Spanish banks must raise an additional euro50 billion ($65.5 billion) to cover their exposure to toxic real estate loans and assets accumulated during a construction boom that went bust with the financial crisis, according to new regulations unveiled Thursday.

Banks unable to meet the new provisions to cover troubled holdings will have the option of presenting merger plans to the government by May and could get government assistance from an existing bailout fund that will be strengthened with an addition euro6 billion, said Economy Minister Luis de Guindos.

Cleaning up the festering holdings of Spain's ailing banking system is a key issue in the drive by the new center-right government to restore investor confidence in the eurozone's fourth largest economy, and prevent Spain from being forced into a bailout like Greece, Ireland and Portugal were forced to take. Banks that want to meet the new provisions without merging will have until the end of the year to do so, de Guindos said.

Spanish banks have about euro175 billion in troubled holdings, and de Guindos said the new rules would prompt many banks to reduce the value of their property holdings. That would lead to further price drops for real estate that saw stunning increases from the mid-1990s until the crisis hit in 2008 but still have not declined as much as experts believe they should.

The reform plan is similar to a 2009 push that forced banks to increase provisions against real estate holdings and bad loans to 30 percent and set off a wave of mergers, but de Guindos said the new rules to protect banks from losses will boost that figure to as much as 80 percent.

The cabinet of Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy plans to approve the measures Friday. They will be sent to Parliament for final approval, but passage is guaranteed because Rajoy's Popular Party has an absolute majority.

The last banking reform plan under Spain's previous Socialist government saw the number of smaller banking chains called 'cajas' dwindle from 42 to 15, and de Guindos offered no prediction of how many will remain after the new rules are put into place.

"I don't know how many will be left after the process, but the aim is to have a banking system with stronger and healthier institutions and better corporate guidance," he told reporters.

Fernando Fernandez, an economist at Madrid's IE Business School, said the rules are so tough that many of those left will be forced into mergers because they won't be able to meet the new provisions to cover toxic holdings.

But Spain's much larger international banks ? Banco Santander SA and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA ? will be able to meet the provisions with less profit for their shareholders, he added.

Many Spanish banks have refused to lower the value of foreclosed property on their books, and Fernandez agreed with de Guindos that the new reform could force them to start unloading real estate at firesale prices.

"This reform is aimed at putting homes on the market at reduced prices," de Guindos said.

It's also aimed at freeing up credit that has been drying up for businesses and individuals, he said, and should "improve the transparency and the perception of strength of the Spanish (financial) entities, entities will be able provide more financing."

The bank reform plan came less than a week after Spanish unemployment shot up to 22.9 percent, maintaining its ranking as the highest among the 17 nations that use the euro. The rate for adults under age 25 is an astonishing 48.5 percent.

Rajoy's government is expected later this month to enact a controversial labor reform plan that will make it cheaper for businesses to fire workers, and for them to negotiate with unions at a company level instead of with entire sectors.

Under the current system, people who are laid off or fired must be paid between 20 to 33 days of salary per year worked, and companies can't negotiate directly with their unionized workers because they must adopt wage deals set for entire sectors.

The government last week also unveiled a budget-discipline law that will allow the government to impose penalties on debt-laden regional governments if they run deficits after 2020. Spain's regions ? like states or provinces ? must bring their spending under control by that year or face possible fines of 0.2 percent of regional gross domestic product.

Government spending cuts and income tax increases were imposed several weeks after Rajoy took power.
